From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the rich and fascinating history of Maison Galimard, spanning over 275 years of olfactory excellence. A tour of our Museum, laboratories and packaging rooms will take you back through the history of the perfume industry and the role of Grasse, the Perfume Capital of the World. You’ll discover some of the most precious raw materials and their extraction methods. You’ll marvel at the variety of essences used in the creation of our perfumes, from the most delicate flowers to the most exotic spices.

It’s worth pointing out that perfume-related know-how in the Pays de Grasse was officially listed as an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO on November 28, 2018. This international recognition crowns centuries of expertise and tradition in the art of perfumery, making Grasse a key reference in the field. We are proud to contribute to preserving and promoting these precious skills, handed down from generation to generation. This inscription on the list of Intangible Heritage of Humanity testifies to the cultural richness and historical importance of the perfume industry in this emblematic region.
