« Si tu savais… » or If only you knew… do you think you do?
To end 2023 with a bang we decided to bring back one of our most legendary vintage perfumes.
Created in 2005 by our in-house perfumer, « Si tu savais… » was an immediate hit, with its audacious fragrance combination and unique bottle.
To understand its success, let’s look back at the olfactive notes that were in vogue at the time that « Si tu savais… » came out. In the early 2000’s, opulent, refined and elegant fragrances as well as sugar-coated decadence were all the rage. It was a time when heady, sugary fragrances filled the streets, shops, and metros – just like the music and the fashion at the time, it was a lot to take in!
Our perfumer decided to make a daring contrast with this teeny-bopper candy-coated culture, and come up with something fresh, by combining surprising elements that typically were not presented together in perfumes that came before.
This story is the very essence of what makes a great perfumer-creator : by using a honed savoir-faire and knowledge of primary materials, a leap of imagination, and a refined olfactive sensibility, art in the form of a fragrance is created.
Opening with a fresh note of pink grapefruit, with a crisp touch of green apple, deepened by the legendary centifolia rose, on a base of amber and white musk, the fragrance is perfectly balanced to create a harmonious, unique perfume.
« Si tu savais… » was born, a daring contrast to the vanilla pop fragrances of the time, with its fresh and elegant notes and its own special bottle. A fragrance for a forward-thinking woman.
The reaction that this fragrance provoked was a natural inspiration for its name. What to call this perfume that is unlike any other ? If you only knew, ah, si tu savais.
